Rosenqvists to Install French Fry Line at Ferskvarehuset AS

Rosenqvists Food Technologies has partnered up with Ferskvarehuset AS in Norway to install a new state-of-the-art processing line for classic and coated French fries, that will be inaugurated in mid-2020.

The plant which will benefit from the new line includes all equipment from raw material intake to the IQF freezer and will have a production capacity of 3 tons/hour finished French fries.

For Ferskvarehuset, the investment is an important step in developing the company for the future, the company said in an announcement. The firm was established in 2007 from a background of twenty years of fresh vegetable production. Today, the company is known for operating an automated production of fresh salads and vegetables.

“We look forward to the day we can offer coated French fries to our local customers in Norway. We plan to start production for French fries as well as other frozen vegetables soon,” says Terje Viken, managing director at Ferskvarehuset.

Niklas Möllerstedt, area sales manager at Rosenqvists Food Technologies, shared the equipment specialist’s perspective regarding the project: “We are very proud to be selected as a supplier to Ferskvarehuset. Our company has worked hard to master the coating process and we feel confident that we can offer complete solutions for French fries production.”.
