Kiremko Installs Complete Potato Processing Line in Russia

Kiremko, together with its partners, recently delivered and installed a complete potato processing line capable of producing a variety of pasteurized potato products in Russia.
The 5000 kg/h line has been set up for Agrofirma KRIMM, a large agricultural firm focused on potatoes and vegetables. The opening ceremony took place on September 5, 2019, at the Tyumen base in Russia and was attended by Kiremko delegates, as well as Meeuwes Brouwer, agricultural counselor at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Russia. One of the partners – Tolsma-Grisnich – was involved in supplying complete ventilation and climate control equipment for storage at the factory (18,000 tons).
According to Agrofirma KRIMM, the processing is set to produce over 15,000 tons of processes potatoes annually, which are destined to the Horeca and B2B sectors.
The company was established in 1999, on the base of the Niva farm which existed since 1988. Today, Agrofirma KRIMM is one of the largest holdings in Russia supplying seed potato and vegetables, with an overall cultivated area of more than 27,000 hectares.
