Vanmark Debuts Compact Hydrocutter Skid System

Vanmark has expanded its line of hydrocutting equipment with the introduction of a new skid system. The Hydrocutter Skid boasts a durable construction and is an easy-to-install, compact integrated system, the company explains. Its user-friendly, flexible operation and sanitary design are meant to aid processors growing their operation or running seasonal and specialty products.

The Hydrocutter Skid system pumps product in water through a fixed array of stainless steel cutting blades, resulting in clean cuts in a variety of patterns. It features stainless steel hydro tubes for vegetables/fruits products up to 4” (101.6 mm) in diameter, including potatoes but also carrots, cucumbers, and hot peppers. The compact skid offers a flexible throughput of 1,000 to 50,000 pounds (453-22,679 kg) per hour.

“We are excited to satisfy additional customer bases with this machine. The Hydrocutter Skid is designed for newer markets establishing automated processing, as well as processors growing their operation or running seasonal and specialty products. They can quickly and easily install this system – impacting production, quality, and efficiency in a matter of hours and days,” says Kris Hearst, general manager of Vanmark’s Boise, Idaho facility.

Vanmark will be showcasing the new Hydrocutter Skid System at Process Expo in Chicago between October 8-11, 2019.
