Efficiency and Quality Increase With TNA’s Two New Potato Products Lines

TNA Solutions has completed an innovative project for the Egyptian Army. The company was tasked by the Egyptian National Services Projects Organization (NSPO) in 2020 to deliver two cutting-edge complete production lines for potato products.

The first line, which is intended specifically for Hash Browns and Rosti, can generate two metric tonnes of product every hour, while the second line, which is intended for French fries, wedges, and disks, can produce up to 10 metric tonnes.

TNA handles every step of the production process, from potato washing and destoning to product packaging in bags, maximizing production efficiency. In addition, TNA’s unrivaled expertise has enabled the integration of state-of-the-art distribution and arctic packaging systems, specifically tailored for frozen potato products.

The company won this contract in partnership with Optima Solutions, formerly Getec Partners LLC, to assist the Egyptian Ministry of Defence in becoming self-sufficient in satisfying the needs of the armed forces, the local market, and export goods. TNA's position as the preferred partner was firmly established by its sector-leading reputation for completing outstanding projects. The project served as a genuine example of the commitment of the TNA worldwide team of professionals and solutions specialists.

The Chief Operations Officer of TNA, Thiago Roriz, was requested to address the persons invited at an inaugural ceremony at the factory. Thiago extended sincere gratitude to the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, on behalf of TNA's founders, notably co-founder and director Nadia Taylor, who takes great pride in her Egyptian ancestry and reaffirmed TNA's commitment to supporting the project and disseminating its unrivaled knowledge of potato production.

“TNA is a leading provider of potato production lines - having supplied more than 14,000 systems across 120 countries globally. We are proud to have an opportunity to support this project and to offer expertise in food processing and packaging to deliver the highest possible quality. TNA’s cutting-edge machinery, state-of-the-art technology, and extensive process experience empowered the company to deliver the two complete lines on schedule, ensuring the efficient production of premium worldwide quality products while adhering to energy consumption, CO2 emissions, and other sustainability-related goals. […] TNA is immensely proud and honored to be an integral part of this project. [...],” Roriz declared.

The completion of both production lines in June 2023 marks the beginning of a transformative era. Discussions are already underway to expand operations to include new potato products, sweet potatoes, and the processing of various agricultural products.
