Simplot Acquires Pinnacle Agriculture

The J.R. Simplot Company has announced it agreed to acquire all of the interests in Pinnacle Agriculture Enterprises LLC. and its subsidiaries. The target acquisition close date is in early 2020.

Pinnacle Agriculture offers crop protection and fertilizer solutions including for potatoes, like for example, Velume Prime – a nematicide with fungicidal activity. The company also offers a seed product portfolio derived from high-quality plant genetics and traits.

The combined complementary footprint of Simplot Grower Solution and Pinnacle stores will grow to more than 200 locations across North America, with approximately 2,7000 employees and more than 500 crop advisors.
