Just Crisps Scores Co-op Deal

Just Crisps – a Staffordshire-based producer of sustainable potato chips – has partnered up with retailer Central England Co-op to supply their products in stores within a 50-mile radius of the Hill Ridware farm where the snacks are produced, writes Express and Star.
The family-owned business has been making Just Crisps since 2011 and has won multiple Great Taste Awards in the meantime. According to the report, every element of the production of the chips is done on the form. The potatoes are grown and harvested in the field, before being cooked in the farm’s own cold-pressed rapeseed oil, hand-flavored, bagged and boxed on the site.
What’s more, the farm also designed and produced their own energy-efficient fryer, built in Tamworth and housed on the farm.
The retailer will be offering the Just Crisps in Sea Salt and Sea Salt & Apple Vinegar flavors. Even so, the snack maker offers additional options including chips with Sea Salt & Black Pepper, Mature Cheddar & Red Onion and Jalapeno. The company also has a line of Roasted Peas and Beans.
