Goehring Elected Vice President of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture

North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring was elected vice president of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) at their recent annual meeting held in Hartford, Connecticut.

"It's a privilege to serve and represent my colleagues at NASDA," Goehring said. "I am looking forward to working alongside NASDA President, New Mexico Secretary of Agriculture Jeff Witte and the team to set priorities and move important policies forward for agriculture."

NASDA is a nonpartisan, nonprofit association which represents the elected and appointed commissioners, secretaries, and directors of the departments of agriculture in all fifty states and four U.S. territories. NASDA grows and enhances agriculture by forging partnerships and creating consensus to achieve sound policy outcomes between state departments of agriculture, the federal government, and stakeholders.
