Visar Sorting Enters New Partnership with DT Dijkstra

Equipment manufacturer D.T. Dijkstra has entered into a collaboration with Visar Sorting, for the delivery of the Sortop optical sorting equipment. With this agreement, DT Dijkstra can offer, in addition to the existing product program, the fully automatic electronic vegetable sorter that can be specified for high-quality optical sorting of potatoes.

The sorter combines innovative design with software technology, to increase the percentage of crop sold by up to 5%, without the need for any manual labor.

Visar Sorting is a company based in Switzerland, developing and manufacturing optical sorting equipment. The company was established in 2008 and first focused on designing machinery for the optical sorting of carrots. In 2015, the company started the development of an optical sorting unit to sort potatoes. The new partnership with D.T.Dijkstra will allow Visar to expand the availability of its products.
