World Potato Congress Industry Awards Nominations deadline approaching

World Potato Congress Inc. General Manager, John Coady, stated recently that, "We are fast approaching the deadline for submission of nominees for the internationally respected WPC Industry Awards."

To insure that deserving individuals are recognized, applications should be completed and forwarded soon.

The World Potato Congress Awards are an important and prestigious event on the international potato scene.

They recognise lifetime contributions from individuals, to the potato industry. Typically four outstanding individuals are recognized, during the awards presentation ceremony, at the triennial Congress.

The next Congress will be held at Edinburgh, Scotland, in May 2012.

Written nominations are invited for submission. The application form and submission instructions appear on the World Potato Congress website www.potatocongress.org.

Applications close on November 1st 2011. All submissions will be acknowledged.
