Top University Programmes to Take Part in Process Expo 2015

The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) announced that it has received early commitments from six top university food science and packaging science programmes to participate in the educational program of Process Expo 2015.

These include the Illinois Institute of Technology, Iowa State University, Michigan State University, OhioStateUniversity, UC

Davis, and University of Wisconsin. These schools are just the first to contribute expert speakers that will address critical topics in the food and beverage industry including food safety and sanitation, innovative technologies in food processing and the latest developments in food packaging.

The ProcessExpoUniversity educational programme will include over 30 hours of sessions that take place on the show floor during the show at Chicago\'s McCormick Place, from September 15-18, 2015. Admission to all sessions will be free of charge to all registered attendees.

“Process Expo University provided a tremendous lift to the trade show last year, greatly complementing the technical expertise that is found among the wide range of exhibits,” said Gil Williams, FSPA chairman and president of Poly-clip System USA.

“We’re excited to once again be working with some of top academics in the field for the 2015 show. Furthermore, this is just the beginning. We are already in touch with several more schools and look to be expanding the program quite a bit in the coming months. By September of 2015, we will have experts covering all facets of the food and beverage industry, and passing on their expertise to PROCESS EXPO attendees,” said David Seckman, FPSA president and CEO.

Process Expo 2015 is co-located with the International Dairy Show and InterBev Process. Registration for the four day event will open in January.
