Royal Avebe Potato Starch and Protein Products are Now Available from Brenntag in Türkiye
Brenntag, a distributor of chemicals and ingredients, recently announced a collaboration with Coöperatie Koninklijke Avebe U.A., an international farmer cooperative that produces potato starch and protein.
The partnership broadens Brenntag Specialties' list of supply partners, enabling it to provide customers all over the world with a wide range of cutting-edge and environmentally friendly goods and services. Brenntag Specialties has agreed to take over a Royal Avebe location in Izmir, Türkiye, as a first step. The internal distributor for Royal Avebe, Avebe Nişasta Sanayii ve Ticaret Limited irketi, which operates in important regions of Türkiye, including an office, four warehouses, and blending facilities in Izmir on the Mediterranean coast, will be acquired by Brenntag. Royal Avebe potato starch and protein products are now available from Brenntag Specialties in Türkiye. This alliance paves the way for future cooperation between the two businesses.
According to Michael Friede, COO of Brenntag Specialties, part of executing the company’s ‘Strategy to Win’ is the strategic expansion and broadening of its portfolio of innovative and sustainable products, especially in the Life Sciences, through collaboration with world-class suppliers like Royal Avebe.

David Fousert, Chief Executive Officer of Royal Avebe, mentioned that within the company strategy ‘Accelerate and Strengthen’, employees have called out their intention to strengthen Royal Avebe’s go-to-market in certain regions with selective partners.
