Plant Health Care Announces Exclusive UK Distribution of PREtec with Agrii UK

Plant Health Care recently announced that it had inked a distribution agreement with Agrii UK. Plant Health Care is a supplier of peptides used by producers to enhance crop yield and quality in international agriculture markets.
Agrii is a UK-based company that offers services, agronomy advice, and crop inputs to growers of fruits, vegetables, and arable crops.
“The Agreement will support commercial sales of PREtec technology and novel Agrii foliar micronutrient combinations. The first Agrii foliar fertilizer product to be launched containing PREtec technology will be sold under the brand Innocul8 and is expected to be widely available to growers in the UK for use in 2024. These combinations are designed to help growers improve crop quality and yield as part of an integrated and environmentally responsible management program,” according to a recent press release.
For Plant Health Care, the commercialization of PREtec in micronutrient blends marks a significant turning point in the uptake of Plant Health Care technology in mature countries. Field tests conducted throughout product development have confirmed its effectiveness, enabling an initial introduction that will promote improved potato quality and yields among other crops. In the UK, additional crop expansion is anticipated in the future.
Growers have access to a cutting-edge and ecologically beneficial method of crop production with PREtec technology, which is compatible with conventional agricultural methods. Farmers who want to continue producing a lot of high-quality food while using more environmentally friendly and sustainable practices will benefit from PREtec's inclusion in fertilizer products.
Plant Health Care has strong alliances with significant international distribution partners as it continues to penetrate new markets around the globe. Through the introduction of new goods and continuing expansion through existing and potential distributor connections, the company is on target to reach revenue of USD30m by 2025 and to achieve cash breakeven and profit along the way.
‟Our agreement with Agrii reflects our commitment to support UK growers and builds on our existing arrangements with Agrii. We are confident that PREtec in fertilizer combinations will provide UK growers with a tool to support efficient, profitable, and sustainable crop production. PREtec is a good solution for UK farmers who are facing unprecedented challenges ranging from product revocations to disease resistance while still having to produce good quality food. We expect to see greater demand for biological solutions in the UK and it is exciting that this distribution agreement will mean more growers can access the yield improvement and sustainability benefits PREtec offers,” Jeff Tweedy, CEO of Plant Health Care, concluded.
