Cinco Hispanos Plans New Multi-Purpose Potato Snacks Plant In Argentina

Argentine potato snack producer Cinco Hispanos has announced plans to develop a new multi-purpose potato snacks facility in Balcarce, Buenos Aires province.

The project was disclosed on 20 December 2025 and will be implemented in phases. According to company communications, the initial stage will focus on agricultural development and logistics infrastructure, with construction of the processing plant scheduled to follow at a later date.

Cinco Hispanos indicated that processing operations are not expected to begin before 2028. No investment value or processing capacity figures were disclosed.

The company produces potato chips and other potato-based snacks under the Krachitos brand and supplies both domestic and export markets.
