Canadians Can Win the Chance to ‘Fry Away' With the Launch of the New McDonald's Program

McDonald's Canada recently revealed the debut of the Frequent Fryer Program, which allows guests who purchase any size World Famous Fries using the McDonald's app between May 16th and June 19th to win a trip to experience different McDonald's fries from Germany, Italy, France, or Japan.

Throughout the event, guests will gain bonus points for free fries using the McDonald's app and have the potential to win exclusive travel accessories like McDonald's bespoke carry-on luggage in addition to the chance to win a chance to "fry away". The more fries Canadians purchase on the app throughout the promotion, the more chances they'll have to win.

“We are taking the love Canadians have for our fries to the next level with our Frequent Fryer Program, offering our valued app users and brand fans the chance to win a trip to Berlin, Rome, Paris, and Tokyo to explore these cities and try our World Famous Fries internationally. This will be the trip of a lifetime for fry lovers and a way for us to deepen our connection with our brand fans by rewarding our app users beyond simple points collection,” Alyssa Buetikofer, Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald's Canada, mentioned.

Representatives from McDonald's Canada indicated that from May 16 to June 19, customers who purchase fries four times using the McDonald's app would receive 4,000 bonus points that can be used for a free order of fries. Additionally, each customer who orders fries through the app is qualified to win one prize. This covers everything, from the locations of the major prizes to the specially made McDonald's travel accessories.

McDonald's Canada's World Famous Fries have long been a Canadian staple, created with 100% Canadian potatoes sourced from over 130 farms. For over 30 years, McCain has supplied McDonald's World Famous Fries in Canada.
