Verpom Joins Europatat as a New Member

Europatat welcomes its new member, the French company Verpom, a producer from Northern France. The company was founded in 1991 and since then, it has specialized its activity in the French market, collecting and packaging potatoes from all over France, but also importing early potatoes from other countries such as Spain, Italy, Portugal or Israel.

It also exports potatoes and onions to Southern, Eastern and Northern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Verpom currently commercializes all kinds of potato varieties in different packaging formats that guarantee traceability from field to the final packaged customer product. Once ready for distribution, Verpom’s potatoes are not only sold in France but also in other areas such as Southern, Eastern and Northern Europe, Middle East or Africa.

Europatat presently incorporates the national associations of the biggest potato trade partners in the EU as well as individual companies active in the potato trade. The association counts 18 national associations, 29 companies and three associated members which represent 19 countries in Europe.
