Utz Quality Foods Completes Pedestrian Bridge in Hanover to Ensure an Optimal Workplace for Associates

Snack producer UTZ QUALITY FOODS, Inc. has recently announced the completion of a pedestrian bridge in Hanover, Pennsylvania, at their High Street manufacturing and corporate office designed to benefit company associates and the community.

The pedestrian bridge is one of the ongoing initiatives and investments being made by Utz Quality Foods to remain a leader in the competitive snack food market and ensure an optimal workplace for all associates. Local motorists and Hanover residents will see a reduction in congestion, particularly during the morning and afternoon commute, as Utz Associates enter and exit the building via the bridge.

The traditional crosswalk will remain available for visitors to enter the Utz Corporate offices or factory tour facilities.

“Safety for our associates was our number one concern when we made the decision to install a pedestrian bridge,” stated George Neiderer, vice president human resources. “We are pleased that in addition to providing a better passageway into our facilities, that we have made a positive impact on the community by easing the flow of traffic through this area.”
