Taylors Snacks Secures First UK Listing With ALDI
The Scottish snack brand Taylors Snacks has made its debut in a supermarket outside of Scotland with the launch of its goods at every ALDI store in the U.K. Since changing its name from Mackie's Crisps in 2023, Taylors Snacks has had tremendous success throughout Scotland and has long had aspirations to expand throughout the U.K.
The award-winning Taylors Snacks chips are made at the fourth-generation Taylor family farm in Errol, Perthshire. With 110 employees, the company is getting ready to develop even more in response to high retail and client demand.
ALDI will stock four of the most popular flavors: Straight Cut Mature Cheddar & Onion and Pickled Onion, and Lightly Sea Salted and Sea Salt & Cider Vinegar Ridge cut flavors, retailing at GBP1.25 per pack.
The current contract sends nearly 220,000 packets of crisps to ALDI stores around the country, with an expectation of more listings in the future.

The Taylors Snacks core potato chips range of thick-cut chips includes flavors such as Sea Salt, Sea Salt & Vinegar, Mature Cheddar & Onion, Pickled Onion, Flame Grilled Aberdeen Angus, Haggis & Cracked Black Pepper and Chilli Kick.
In the Ridge Cut range, Taylors introduced two new flavors – Hot Buffalo Wings and Jalapeño & Mature Cheddar – in addition to the established flavors of Lightly Sea Salted, Sea Salt & Vinegar, Cheddar & Onion and Thai Sweet Chilli.
