RJ Herbert Engineering Goes into Administration

Cambridgeshire-based vegetable processing equipment specialist RJ Herbert Engineering has gone into administration.

Chris Farrington and Matt Cowlishaw, partners at Deloitte LLP, were appointed joint administrators of RJ Herbert Engineering Limited and RJ Herbert Group Limited. The administrators are taking steps to stabilize the business and preserve value and both companies will continue to operate while the administrators decide how this can be achieved.

The creditors of the companies will shortly receive formal notification of the joint administrators’ appointment and be asked to submit details of any claims.

RJ Herbert Engineering, a high-quality British manufacturer with over 40 years of experience, had a turnover of GBP18.8m in the year to 31 March 2014, which is the latest figure available.
