Potatoes USA Partners with Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon Series

Potato marketing and research organization Potatoes USA announces it will partner for a year-long collaboration with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series.

The agreement – part of Potatoes USA’s 2019 consumer outreach program – enables Potatoes USA to reach athletes all year long through best-in-class event activation opportunities.

The partnership began in the Windy City, at the Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicago Half Marathon on July 21-22.

In addition to the Chicago event, the partnership gives Potatoes USA a digital presence at all U.S. Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series races, as well as a physical presence at three additional events nationwide. These are: Rock ‘n’ Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon in September, Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Marathon & ½ Marathon in December, and United Airlines Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon San Francisco, in April 2019.

At each race, Potatoes USA had multiple touchpoints with athletes and attendees over the race weekend. In the days leading up to the race, participants and their friends and family can find Potatoes USA among other performance-focused brands at the pre-race Health & Fitness Expo. There they can interact with Potatoes USA representatives, sample potato recipes specifically developed for athletic performance, learn about how potatoes fit into their training diet, and receive branded collateral and take-home items.

On race day itself, Potatoes USA’s new “What Are You Eating?” campaign will be visible with on-course signage, and racers and attendees will be able to interact with the Potatoes USA team yet again at a finish-line photo booth experience.
