New Pringles Ad to Air During Super Bowl LIII

Pringles, the popular chips brand by Kelloggs has secured a spot in the Super Bowl LIII with a new ad from its Flavor Stacking campaign. The sporting event, which will take place on February 3, is expected to attract millions of viewers from around the world.

Pringles, known for their playful nature, will guest star in a 30s ad created by the Grey Group, which also features an “emotional smart device and an iconic song”. The commercial will air during the 2nd quarter and will be streamed nationally on TV, as well as online.

Kellogg’s chips first made an appearance at the Super Bowl in 2018 with a spot promoting the idea of Flavor Stacking, which refers to the ability to mix and match different flavors to create a veritable meal in the mouth. According to the company’s representatives Pringles is thrilled to be back at the sporting event with a new one from the same campaign.

“Flavor Stacking is so uniquely Pringles’ – and has been fundamental to the brands recent success – we knew it was the right place to play again for this year’s Super Bowl. There are literally hundreds of thousands of combinations, almost too many to comprehend. Creatively we looked to culture to bring that fact to life in a relevant – and funny – way,” explained John Patroulis, worldwide chief creative officer at Grey.
