Insort Appoints New CEO

Dr. Markus Schlagbauer took over as CEO on January 1, 2024, while the former CEO and founder, Matthias Jeindl, will focus on new strategic initiatives.
The decision of Matthias Jeindl to transfer operational control to Dr. Markus Schlagbauer is part of a growth push that was started when Swedish financial investor Alder became a stakeholder.
The company's technological achievement was formerly overseen by physicist Markus Schlagbauer, who held the position of Head of Research and Development at Insort. He is the perfect choice for the CEO role due to his broad technical knowledge, 16 years of management experience, and track record in image processing, automation technology, and sensor development - all of which he has already proven in other multinational organizations.
The company's founder and more than ten years of successful management, Matthias Jeindl, will continue to be instrumental in forming Insort. In his new role, he will prioritize strategic duties and make sure the company's objectives and vision are consistently accomplished.
“The appointment of Markus Schlagbauer as CEO is an important step for Insort. With his leadership experience and commitment to innovation, we are confident that he will take the company to new heights. At the same time, I look forward to shifting my role and driving the company forward in new capacities,” Matthias Jeindl concluded.
