Lalesse Appoints New Business Unit Manager

Lalesse Extrusion appoints a new Business Unit Manager. The company welcomed Jeroen van der Meij earlier this month, previously the Aftersales Manager at TNA.

Jeroen brings more than 20 years of valuable technical, field, and industry experience including almost a decade in the food sector. As a small company, Lalesse was thrilled to find an all-around expert capable of ensuring adequate care for its current and future customers.

In the upcoming months, Lalesse’s Technical Manager, Bert Driesen, will ensure the breadth and depth of the company’s knowledge will be properly transferred to van der Meij.

“I am very excited to take on this challenge. While my previous experience will surely be helpful, I look forward to learning more about the extrusion world,” van der Meij commented.

He also added that he is happy to move to a broader role where he can engage in various activities from sales to service.

Since Lalesse’s takeover by Kuipers last year, the company's focus remains on the continuity of service to its long-life customers.

“Jeroen is without a doubt an essential addition to maintain our business goals,” the company’s general manager, Luc Jan Wolpert, concluded.
