Internal Senior Appointments for Continued Growth Expansion at Food Process Solutions

Food Process Solutions (FPS) has announced internal senior appointments in preparation for continued growth.
Richard Quélo is named General Manager, Europe, to oversee the company's expanding business operations. In addition to leading the European sales division, he will assume new responsibilities such as developing, planning, and executing growth strategies, as well as bringing FPS's stringent hygiene and food safety standards to European markets. Richard has over 25 years of experience in the food industry, including F&B, bakery, and potato products.
Jason MacDougall is the Global Procurement Director. Jason had been acting on behalf of FPS on global procurement efforts since June 2020, and he will complete the transition in November 2021. Jason's responsibilities include developing best-in-class procurement functions to support FPS's broader transformation of values and continued global expansion, such as cost management, supplier partnership development, and bulk buy negotiations. Jason is critical to ensuring a secure, global supply for all of FPS's global entities, with over 30 years of purchasing and business operations experience.
Jason Cathey has been promoted to the position of Director of Service, US Operations. Jason joined FPS in January 2020 as a Business Development Manager with a focus on client service and support in the US aftermarket. Technical service support, audits, site visits, and customer relationship management are among his new responsibilities. Jason will bring invaluable on-the-ground experience to FPS's US client base, having spent more than 20 years in the food processing industry, most recently as maintenance manager at Tyson Foods.
“These appointments are a testament to our continued growth in major markets around the world. Europe is transforming its food industry, where hygiene and food safety standards will push boundaries and expectations. In addition, we need to keep ahead of the game when it comes to ensuring global supplies are secure, competitive, and meet customers’ needs. On top of that, providing the highest customer service and technical support in the US market gives that much more value to our clients. That is our continued promise,” Jeffrey Chang, president, of FPS Food Process Solutions Corp. said.
