HZPC Americas Corp. Launches New Seed Dealer Network

By establishing a Seed Dealer Network, HZPC Americas Corp. and its partners will embark on a new era of assisting the North American potato business.
HZPC has strategically chosen to enter the North American markets of USA and Canada with a value-chain-driven approach. HZPC has taken action by creating a Dealer Network in order to achieve this. Each of the three participating dealers that HZPC has worked with has a long history of productive cooperation with the company. The three initial dealers are Edmonton Potato Growers in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; Kroeker Farms in Winkler, Manitoba, Canada; and Ebe Farms in Ferndale, Washington, U.S.
To guarantee that everyone has access to a clean, reliable seed supply, these dealers will keep helping regional multipliers of HZPC varieties as well as commercial consumers of HZPC genetics. HZPC will be able to go from a direct seed sales model to a full variety licensing approach model thanks to this strategic change. Additionally, this change in strategy will give HZPC the chance to collaborate with creative partners across the value chain to provide market and field knowledge and support for HZPC varieties. Additionally, without the extra layer of complexity or expense that the prior sales technique needed, it will enable marketers and farmers of HZPC types to interact directly with the clients they have been supplying for years.
“HZPC is excited to enter this new era of collaboration and is looking forward to solidifying these partnerships. HZPC will continue to work closely with all its seed growers across North America to provide the technical support and market insights that have made it the market leader in potato genetics. Founded in 1898 and rooted in The Netherlands, HZPC has grown to become a global market leader in innovative breeding, seed potato trading, and concept development. HZPC serves food producers, processors, and retailers with innovative solutions that anticipate all challenges the industry faces,” according to a recent press release.
