AHDB Potatoes Appoints New Board Members

The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) is looking for a ware grower, a seed grower, and a representative from the processing supply chain to join the sector board of its GB potato division.
The new board members will assist the chair in developing strategy, overseeing financial issues and ensuring effective governance. It will be expected that they play an active role in the industry in their specific specialism.
Sector board members are expected to make a time commitment of up to two days per month and attend all board meetings, with additional requirements being agreed with the sector board chair. Remuneration is currently payable at GBP256.25 per day plus expenses. Closing date for applications is 5pm on December 5.
