Agrico appoints MD

Potato cooperative Agrico is changing over to a form of one-head management.

On May 6, Jan van Hoogen was appointed managing director and will lead the organisation in close cooperation with a management team.

The supervisory board scrutinised Agrico's management structure. The supervisory body opted for a form of one-head management. The managing director will lead the organisation in close cooperation with a management team.

On behalf of the supervisory board, acting chairman Jan Wolthuis announced that Jan van Hoogen was appointed managing director. He said: "We are particularly pleased to be able to announce Jan van Hoogen's appointment today and naturally wish him the best of luck in his new job."

The works council has advised positively on the appointment. The board of members, too, is favourable to Jan van Hoogen's appointment to managing director.
